Dentures

A smile your grandkids will remember

denturesIf you are missing most or all of your natural teeth, Walker and Barr, DMD can provide you with a set of lifelike dentures to bring back a natural-looking smile that your grandkids will remember for a lifetime, bringing back favorable oral health and preserving the integrity of your jawbone and facial structure.

What are dentures?

Dentures and partials are either removable or fixed dental prosthetics that can replace missing teeth. Dentures can be standalone or be secured by dental implants, which increase strength, stability, and comfort.

Your Brandon dentists begin the process with a consultation to determine the best course of action for the replacement of absent teeth, taking your individual dental situation into account, including factors such as your bone density and overall oral health. Advancements in cosmetic techniques can create a natural-looking smile, and by incorporating dental implants, patients can now enjoy increased confidence in a strong, secure smile.

Teeth in a day!

Dr. Walker and Dr. Barr provide Nobel Biocare™ Teeth in a Day, which replace either the upper or lower arch with implant-supported dentures the same day.

We also provide immediate stabilization of existing full dentures with the placement of mini diameter implants. The dental implants are placed in-office and, in most cases, we are able to provide immediate stabilization of the full denture the day of implant placement.

What are Mini Implants?

Mini dental implants are a less expensive, less invasive alternative to traditional implants. They are often chosen by patients with bone loss, as mini implants do not require bone grafting or expansion prior to placement.

If you’ve been dreaming of a solution for your loose dentures and are tired of messy adhesives, implant-supported dentures could be the answer. Imagine never using denture adhesives again!
